Maritza De Quesada Maritza is a multidisciplinary artist from Puerto Rico based in Miami, FL.

As a multidisciplinary artist, Maritza delves into the uncharted territories of the mind and soul, crafting a tapestry of exploration that transcends traditional artistic boundaries.

Born out of a relentless curiosity for the metaphysical, Maritza seamlessly weaves together elements of spirituality, philosophy, and mysticism in her creations. Her artistic journey is a kaleidoscopic odyssey, navigating the depths of consciousness and inviting viewers to embark on a transformative experience.

Meditation serves as both muse and method for Maritza, a practice that not only informs her creative process but also becomes an integral part of the artwork itself. Each piece is a meditation in form and content, an invitation to pause, reflect, and traverse the landscapes of one's own inner world.

Human connection, as a cornerstone of Maritza's work, is explored with a nuanced sensitivity. The interplay of emotions, relationships, and shared experiences becomes a poignant narrative in her art. Through various mediums such as painting, sculpture, and interactive installations, Maritza seeks to create a space where viewers can connect not only with the artwork but also with each other, fostering a sense of unity and shared understanding.

With a portfolio that spans the ethereal and the earthly, Maritza invites audiences to transcend the mundane and embrace the sublime. Her art serves as a bridge between the tangible and the intangible, offering a glimpse into the interconnectedness of all things.

As Maritza continues to explore the boundless realms of metaphysics, meditation, and human connection, her work stands as a testament to the enduring power of art to elevate the spirit and illuminate the profound mysteries of existence.

In 2017, she cofounded of MITTE PROJECTS, an art collective in Miami and New York.

Maritza also wrote and directed a short film Iā€™d rather be crazy than boring that has been shown in a variety of film festivals.
